This is an OE Replacement Kit for the Japan-Spec 1996-2002 HONDA STEPWGN

This kit includes 2 Transmission Solenoid Packs - Replaces OE PN# 28300-P24-J01 Lockup Solenoid & PN #28200-P56-003 Shift Solenoid

Typically by this age some Stepwgn will experience delayed shifting, hard shifting, or random shifting to N, and loss of all gears. This can be due to a solenoid that sticks or is worn out, a clogged gasket / filter, dirty fluid. You can try and clean the original solenoids but in many cases the solenoid doesn't click, and the individual gaskets are discontinued from Honda. Before rebuilding the transmission if you suspect it's faulty, try and clean or replace the solenoids, as well as drain a refill the transmission with fresh Honda ATF DW1, or H-Plus by Idemitsu. A typical drain and fill is 3 quarts of fluid. Since there is no external transmission filter to replace during normal maintenance it is important to drain and fill the fluid every 30K miles (basically an oil change) and keep the fluid clean.
